11/04/14 0544 to 0600 It is good to see the dawn again... though i do love low light shots and shots of the night cityscape (well... pre-dawn)... it is nice to see the sun come up... let see how long this lasts
11/05/14 0541 to 0609 Wednesday... and the week is half over... not sure that it is a bad thing... tired... so tired... year almost over... sigh... the dawn continues to be spectacular... wonder how long it will last before i am shooting in the dark once more?
11/06/14 0547 to 0615 Perhaps i lingered a bit too long this morning... the light was just so, and the fog was just a bit this and that... a lone VW camper sits in the parking lot... possibly the best camping spot to wake up from slumber at... then car loads of tourists showed up... first, a trio of Germans (in the last pano)... then a foursome of Indian Sikhs... announcing their arrival with a blast of cigarette smoke released through the opening of car doors... finally, a lone woman, who parked next to me, wearing a puffy vest and a pony tail...
11/07/14 0555 to 0625 Fog... fog fog fog... the weather is changing!! The whole time at the vista point, i looked up at the hills of the Marin Headlands and i see head and tail lights snaking up. Photographers must be thicker than something really thick up there today... the bay, socked in by fog... with the towers of the GG Bridge sticking out... and the sun, yellow and bright, shining down on the cottony white of the fogged in bay! Oh! What a shot it would have made!! But, i must be consistent... and get to work as well! Sigh... Today though, it was a busy Vista Point. Channel 4 KRON had a van out there, i am assuming taking B rolls... then i was joined by two photographers and a woman who was on a business call... smoking a leisurely morning ciggie and drinking her coffee whilst pacing the sidewalk of the Vista Point... what an office with a view! Due to the fog... we be zoomed out today.

11/10/14 0701 Foggy day... in Frisco town... has me low... and has me down... anyhow... drove up to the vista point and was hit over the head by the smell of some stink ass weed the moment i opened my door... WOW! Monday monday monday... ah... so starts another week
11/11/14 0537 to 0625 Beautiful Veterans Day morning at the bridge... Beautiful Remembrance Day as well... the radio programming brought me to tears as i drove into work... but, lest we forget...
11/12/14 0537 to 0619 Strange morning this... there was another fellow at the vista point... and we actually had a rather involved conversation about photography. Two novices trying to figure out how to shoot landscape... from Newport Beach he said he was, had a nice camera with a fast lens and a bag of filters and tricks... headed up to the Marin Headlands for photos as the sun is peeking out, i hope he finds the shot he is looking for... me? i am just happy to say that i finally got shots of the Alcatraz light house light on the water! i think this is a first for me!
11/17/14 0609 to 0622 Back from Chicago... enjoyed the wonderful winter weather and the brief moments of snow. The David Mamet play was... well, well performed and wonderfully enjoyable, though very very heavy and dark. Ah well, Mamet at his best.
11/18/14 0552 to 0625 A beautiful morning, full of color, drama and presenting the bay in wonderful light. Ah... it is quite beautiful
11/19/14 Rain rain rain! in buckets!! So... no photos... well, and the fact that i needed to be at work a 5AM....
11/20/14 0603 to 0612 Light fog and mist... multiple watercraft on the water, bright beams of light shining across the water... quite beautiful indeed... first a panned out pano, then, taking advantage of the watercraft lights to align the panorama, contracted panorama of the bay
11/24/14 0559 to 0614 Beautiful morning... after a number of missed mornings... the buildings of San Francisco lit up for the holidays already... the shipping channel busy and strung out with ship's running lights... a cold morning, the crisp air making the image sharp and clean... ahhhh... it was nice to take photos again...
11/25/14 0532 to 0543 cold... windy... wonderful morning... i think i may have to bring gloves into play soon... sigh... it is, after all, winter.
11/26/14 0526 to 0548 One day before Thanksgiving... there were plans afoot for Jenn to come into lab with me this morning... however, her eternal enemy, the morning, defeated her once more... hard to resist the threat of the early hours and the powerful sleep inducing warmth of a snuggly cat... i understand...
